In order to support the battle against global warming, MULTIVAC has been backing eco power for its production sites in Germany and Austria since the beginning of the year. This measure enables the company's CO2 footprint to be reduced of more than 20,000 tons over the next 3 years.

Greater efficiency, lower costs, less plastic and still the same taste and convenience: When MULTIVAC exhibits at the two leading trade fairs, Anuga FoodTec 2022 (Hall 8.1, Stand C010) and IFFA 2022 (Hall 11.1, Stand B11), it will be showing a future-proof solution for packing thinly sliced or very sticky sliced products as part of a slicer line.

With its compact and fully automatic T 305, MULTIVAC is launching a new traysealer, which is characterised by its high level of performance, pack quality and flexibility. The versatile all-rounder builds on the success of the proven T 300 traysealer, and it is designed for packing small and medium-sized batches in the food sector, as well as for quick product changes.

MULTIVAC will be exhibiting its wide range of innovative processing and packaging solutions at this year's IFFA in Frankfurt. The focus will be on integrated lines, which enable meat products and alternative proteins to be processed and packaged cost-effectively and sustainably. Other highlights will be a presentation of the company's digital products, as well as its services in the areas of packaging consultancy and after-sales care.

The roadshow truck from MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection is once again back on the road: As with previous years, customers in Germany and other European countries can learn all about MULTIVAC's innovative labelling and inspection solutions at their own door and without any effort whatsoever.

At this year's Compamed MULTIVAC will be exhibiting packaging solutions for sensitive products. The highlight will be the RX 4.0 thermoforming packaging machine in GMP design, which will be presented to the visitors for the first time. In conjunction with an integrated handling module and an InteliJet HD digital printer from BELL-MARK, it forms an efficient solution for producing and printing combi packs containing a syringe, filter and vial.

Strategic collaboration in the Traysealer business. MULTIVAC has signed a collaboration agreement with packaging machine manufacturer Italianpack, thereby expanding its product portfolio in the traysealer sector. MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. KG has a purchase option for 25.1 percent of the shares in Italianpack S.p.A. with a term of three years.

With its F 286 thermoforming packaging machine, MULTIVAC is launching a new model, which is particularly suitable for producing vacuum and MAP packs for snack products. The main features of the new machine are its high level of flexibility, efficiency and pack quality, as well as its excellent price-performance ratio, and the machine is available for ordering with immediate effect.

Starting with two events in March, MULTIVAC is initiating its Summit 2021 on all aspects of food processing and packaging, which includes face-to-face events as well as virtual concepts. The first two events on the topics of "Sustainability & Digitalisation" and "Solutions for the Meat Processing Industry" take place in parallel from 8 March to 25 March 2021 at the company's headquarters in Wolfertschwenden as well as virtually – and they can also be combined with each other.
