hubergroup to Showcase Packaging Solutions at ElitePlus 2026

hubergroup will participate as a Platinum Partner at the ElitePlus Speciality Films & Flexible Packaging Global Summit, taking place in Mumbai on 26 and 27 August 2026. The company will use its exhibition presence to present packaging materials designed for printing, lamination, food-contact applications, and recyclable packaging structures.

Vellayan Subbiah, Chairman of hubergroup, is scheduled to deliver the keynote “Driving Sustainable Growth in an Uncertain World” on 26 August. The presentation will address sustainability and growth considerations affecting the packaging industry.

Ink and Varnish Portfolio
At its booth, hubergroup will showcase its solvent-based Gecko ink and varnish portfolio, including toluene-free formulations used in applications such as snack packaging, confectionery laminates, dairy pouches, and pharmaceutical overwraps.

The inks are designed to provide colour yield, lamination bond strength, and stable rheological behaviour at elevated press speeds. hubergroup will also present its expanded nitrocellulose-free (NC-free) portfolio as part of its focus on packaging structures compatible with circularity requirements.

Lamination Adhesives
The company will also display solvent-based and solvent-free lamination adhesives. These materials bond multiple substrate layers into composite packaging structures and are intended for applications requiring mechanical integrity and resistance to thermal and chemical stresses.

The portfolio includes adhesive systems designed for high bond strength across different film structures, curing performance, and low-migration requirements for sensitive packaging applications. The materials can be used alongside printing processes including flexographic and rotogravure printing.

Packaging Applications
The combination of printing inks, varnishes, and adhesives addresses several stages of flexible packaging production. For converters, compatibility between these material systems can influence print quality, lamination performance, curing behaviour, and the reliability of finished multilayer structures.

At ElitePlus 2026, hubergroup will provide technical information on its packaging materials and their application across food, pharmaceutical, and other flexible packaging formats.
