GEA Sustainable engineering solutions at ACHEMA 2022 Innovating today, transforming tomorrow
At this year’s ACHEMA from August 22 to August 26, GEA (Hall 4.0 Booth G66) will be showcasing its edge-cutting solutions focused on some of the most pressing issues of our time, such as the reduction of carbon emissions, the impulse of e-mobility and the adoption of a circular economy.
Forward-looking, as always, GEA brings along its trusted technologies of separation, evaporation, distillation, crystallization and drying while embracing digitalization, modularization and holistic product innovation.
In addition to several exciting new launches that include new Orbital Cleaners, the GEA VARIVENT® Mixproof valve type mix and more; GEA will be showcasing, among others, the single-use GEA kytero® 2000 separator and the NexGen Press® - the ultimate combination of modular design, sustainability, digitization, safety and user-friendly functionality on tablet presses.
Furthermore, GEA presents the separator lines aseptic and pure which are used in all pharmaceutical and biotechnological downstream processes. GEA's aseptic separator line offers customers with highly hygienic processes, gentle processing of e.g. human and veterinary vaccines, monoclonal antibodies (mAb), e-coli, insulin, starter cultures and probiotic products. The pure line is used in applications with varying hygienic requirements such as nutritional supplements, therapeutic proteins, pharmaceutical extractions and extracellular and intracellular enzyme recovery.
Last but not least, GEA presents the PilotMaster – a robust decanter for smaller production volumes and for upscaling tests, optionally available in ATEX design. It is protected against erosion and corrosion, as all parts in contact with the product are made of high-alloy duplex steels, super duplex steels or Hastelloy C276.
